Starved Rock Engagement & Wedding

This week, two years ago, Justin and Amy requested engagement and wedding photography at Starved Rock State Park. I was so excited to work with this long time friend of mine in such a unique location! They asked to incorporate the canyons, and their beloved Harley Davidson, which are two of my favorite things.

We hiked into a couple canyons at the park and took a look at their ceremony site at the Great Bear Lodge. Amy was such a trooper hiking in her wedge shoes!

Riding is a love that Amy and Justin share so, we ended their session with a few shots with their bike.

On the day of their event, heavy rains came through and added to the anticipation while getting ready.

One of my favorite moments was the first look that Amy planned with her father. They were both overwhelmed with joy and our two cameras captured this incredible moment with precision.

When the rain left, a fantastic fog lingered in the canyon. It was an amazing sight to see.
